Collection: Crohn's Disease

Get relief from the inflammation, severe intestinal pain, and diarrhea associated with Crohn's Disease.

Mesosilver is a true colloidal silver consisting of pure, sterilized water and pure silver particles. The particles in Mesosilver are 0.65 nanometers in diameter, the smallest available in a silver colloid. It is the small particle size combined with high particle concentration that makes Mesosilver the most effective silver colloid available. Mesosilver supplements your immune system to fight pathogens.

Mesosilver does not interact or interfere with the medications you may be taking. No adverse side effects have been reported from Mesosilver.

Crohn's Disease

Crohn's Disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in which areas of the intestinal tract become inflamed causing sloughing and, in some instances, ulcers. While many other IBDs cause inflammation of the intestinal lining, Crohn's affects all layers of the intestine, not just the surface. The most common symptoms include diarrhea and intense stomach pain. Rectal bleeding, weight loss, and fever may also occur. Bleeding may be serious and persistent, leading to anemia. Children with Crohn's disease may suffer delayed development and stunted growth.

Although usually affecting the portion of the small intestine known as the ileum, the condition is not limited solely to the small intestine and can affect any area of the digestive tract, from the mouth to the anus. Severity varies; only a small area of the intestine is affected in some people, while others suffer from widespread intestinal inflammation.

The causes of Crohn's Disease remain a mystery, but many researchers believe that the disease is triggered by a faulty immune system. Either the immune system responds too aggressively to bacteria in the intestine, or it may even perceive normal food and intestinal contents as a threat. This results in inflammation and the sudden emptying of the intestines.

The British research team at St. George's Hospital Medical School in London, has discovered that 92 percent of Crohn's disease patients harbor the bacterium Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis (MAP) in their intestinal tissues. Only 26 percent of patients without Crohn's Disease have MAP. This implicates the bacterium as a cause of Crohn's Disease inflammation. MAP (the same bacterium that causes Johne's Disease in cattle) is a contaminant of unpasteurized milk and dairy products.

How Does the Immune System fight Crohn's Disease?

The immune system is a body-wide network of cells and organs that has evolved to defend the body against attacks by foreign entities such as bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses.

Method of Use: Mesosilver is absolutely safe and has no drug interactions. As a supplement to the immune system takes an oral dosage of one tablespoon daily. Two 250 mL bottles will last a little over a month.
